MALAYBALAY CITY (BukidnonNews.net/ 26 May 2025)—The student government of Managok National High School has launched a fundraising drive to support the remaining family of their peer who was killed last Wednesday.
Joeff Ivan Labora Andohon, 15, was a Grade-9 student of MNHS. He and his parents were hammered to death by a still unidentified suspect and were survived by his two younger sisters.
The MNHS student council’s Facebook post reads:
“(Joeff Ivan’s) tragic loss was heartbreaking news for the teachers, staff and fellow students who are also grieving for his sudden departure.
“Amidst the veil of the night…this tragic event has placed a significant emotional and financial burden on the family. In addition to the grief they are experiencing, they are now struggling with funeral expenses…
“Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in supporting the family during this incredibly difficult time…Rest assured that the gathered funds will be given to the bereaved family. Thank you and God Bless.”
