MALAYBALAY CITY (BukidnonNews.net/ 09 June 2025)—A 15-year-old was killed by an explosion at a house in Baungon, 4:40pm Friday, June 6.
Other victims, aged 18 and 33, are currently being treated for serious injuries at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center in Cagayan de Oro.
Based on the police blotter sent by PCol. Jovit Culaway, Bukidnon police director, initial investigation points to a suspected explosive found in Purok 4, Balintad. It was mistaken for a gold bar and cut by a handsaw.
Details remain unclear as further investigation is still being done.
