MALAYBALAY CITY (BukidnonNews.net/ 14 November 2024)—Central Mindanao University once again emerged as a top-performing school in this year’s Nutritionist-Dietitians board exam held on Nov. 6-7.

With 49 passers, it shares the top spot with the University of the Philippines Diliman and Los Baños campuses, which also earned a 100 percent passing rate. In 2nd place is the University of Santo Tomas at 98.44 percent. They led 49 schools, which drew 843 passers out of 1,209.

The Nutrition and Dietetics department under CMU’s College of Human Ecology has consistently earned a 100 percent passing rate for the last 12 years—it has done so in 9 out of 11 licensure exams since 2013. In 2022, they joined the ranks of top-performing schools when they fielded 30 test-takers, ranking 3rd with 29 passers. In 2023, they finally secured the top spot alongside UP-Diliman and Los Baños. 

“We’re so proud of each one of you for reaching this amazing performance!” wrote Dean Rubie Andoy Arroyo on Facebook for this year’s feat. “To God be the glory!”
