MALAYBALAY CITY – Thirteen year old singer Roel Manlangit from Purok 2 in Valencia City earned his spot in the finals of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4 aired on ABS-CBN.

Manlangit joined MP3 band and Zilent Overload in the first three of six finalists for the talent show. He placed second of six in the semi-finals with the number of text votes earned as of Sunday night.

He sang Wency Cornejo’s “Habang May Buhay” Saturday for the performance night. The same act was cut short by a minute for a repeat on Sunday.

Manlangit’s shot to fame started on, where a video uploaded by “migui2k” got viral. Since then, he has performed in variety shows on television until he joined PGT4.

Judges Kris Aquino and Freddie M. Garcia chose Manlangit over Chaeremon Basa, 16, a flair bar tender from Bacolod City for the final entry to the finals. (Bukidnon News.Net)
