Transporting potatoes

A horse carries two sacks of potatoes from a farm in Kaatuan, Lantapan, Bukidnon. From the farm in "Black" to a road passable by four-wheel vehicles in the barangay proper, hauling costs P50 to P60 per sack over rugged roads. Transportation adds to the costs of farming in the area, where farmers face lack of farmworkers and the high costs of farm inputs.
