PSA opens CRS Serbilis Outlet in Malaybalay City

MALAYBALAY CITY (26 December 2021/BukidnonNews.Net) Residents of Bukidnon need not go to Cagayan de Oro City to get their authenticated birth or marriage certificates as the service is now offered at the Bukidnon Provincial Statistical Office in Brgy. Casisang, this city. 

Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has inaugurated its Civil Registration System (CRS) Serbilis Outlet in Bukidnon on Dec. 22.

Janith C. Aves, officer in-charge of PSA Region 10 said the CRS Serbilis Outlet in the province started accommodating clients since Dec. 16 but the inauguration was held seven days later.

Aves told a press conference after the launching activity that the Malaybalay City outlet is the fourth CRS Serbilis Outlet established by PSA-10. Other outlets are in the cities of Cagayan de Oro, Iligan and Ozamis.

The outlet for the mean time accepts both walk in and online clients. But by January 3, 2022 they will only cater to online transactions.

Aves noted that the provincial government has requested to open the outlet for convenience of local residents to get their authenticated birth, marriage or death certificates and even CENOMAR or Certificate of No Marriage.

She said authenticated certificate can be released within 30 minutes.

Maria Evangeline N. Non, officer in-charge of PSA Bukidnon said CRS Serbilis Outlet can accommodate 100 clients per day but since its initial opening they only served 50 to 60 clients a day.

As to the cost per authenticated copy, Non said client will pay P155 per birth/marriage or death certificate and P210 for CENOMAR. (Text and photo by Mel B. Madera for BukidnonNews.Net)
