Bae Balignào Adelfa “Nanay Ipang” Saway Kinuyog is one of the daughters of the Talaandig’s Apu Kinulintang. She is one of the teachers in the Talaandig School of Living traditions in Songco, Lantapan, Bukidnon.

As a balignao (teacher), Nay Ipang makes sure the Talaandig's indigenous knowledge systems and practices are passed on to the next generations.

Nay Ipang mentors her child Dayan on mat weaving according to their culture’s techniques and principles. She says weaving should be done only in the morning and in the late afternoon until evening. She believes that by noon grass is brittle.
