Bukidnon number of new COVID cases continue to decrease
MALAYBALAY CITY (BukidnonNews.Net/06 February 2022) A total of 64 or 35 percent of the total 182 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Northern Mindanao were reported in Bukidnon, according to the February 6, 2022 COVID-19 briefer of the Department of Health-10 Regional Epidemiology Surveillance and Disaster Response Unit.
Bukidnon now owns the highest number of new confirmed cases. This is however, a decrease compared to the 172 new cases reported in the province as of the Feb. 5, 2022 briefer.
Cagayan de Oro, which used to own the highest new cases reported 62 new cases.
Of the 191 confirmed cases reported to have recovered, 12 came from Bukidnon.
The DOH report cited zero admissions but a total of 4,037 active cases in Bukidnon. This is also the highest number of active cases in Northern Mindanao’s five provinces and two major cities. The province has more active cases than Cagayan de Oro City at 3,770 cases as reported on Feb. 6, 2022. As of Feb. 5, 2022, Bukidnon has a total of 3,985 active cases, based on the DOH-10 briefer.
