Bukidnon allots P788-million funds against Covid-19

MALAYBALAY CITY ( August 2021) The Provincial Government of Bukidnon (PGB) has announced that it will allocate additional funds of a total of P788 million to curve cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the province.

The Public Affairs Information and Assistance (PAIA) Division of the Office of the Governor said in a press release on August 18 that Gov. Jose Ma. R. Zubiri Jr. announced the planned allocation during the Provincial Covid-19 Task Force Emergency Meeting on the same day.

Gov. Zubiri said the provincial government will allot P600 million to be distributed to the towns in Bukidnon for Covid-19 response.

The Capitol will also set aside P188 million to eight government hospitals in the province including Bukidnon Provincial Medical Center (BPMC) in Malaybalay to increase the capacity of the said hospitals in accepting Covid-19 patients. (Mel B. Madera)
