Malaybalay City, Bukidnon (BukidnonNews.Net/18 April 2026) The contingent’s street and ground presentation portrays the life of the Higaonon people in the past, including the story of Bae Dahilayan and the appearance of a kambanog-banog (hawk eagle) as an omen of conflict and death. The performance also depicts the driving away of busaw using traditional weapons such as spears and shields.
The float features a kalumbata (Philippine eagle) and its chick, Maluko, symbolizing a strong and thriving relationship with the male eagle, Guilang-guilang.

This story supports Sustainable Development Goal 11 (Indicator 11.4.1) through the preservation of Higaonon cultural heritage, while also advancing Sustainable Development Goal 15 (Indicator 15.5.1) by highlighting biodiversity conservation through the Philippine eagle symbolism.
