‘Vinta’ leaves six dead in Bukidnon

MALAYBALAY CITY (27 December) Tropical Storm ‘Vinta’ left six persons dead in Bukidnon, according to reports from the local disaster risk reduction and management center, as quoted by Ms. Jocelyn Daroy, Philippine Red Cross Bukidnon chair.

The reports cited two were killed in a landslide incident in Valencia City, including a two-year old child. Four other persons were reported to have died in San Fernando town when the tropical storm hit the province on December 22.

Bukidnon was declared under tropical storm signal no. 2, along with 14 other provinces in Mindanao. (BukidnonNews.Net)
