Malaybalay Runners Dominate Kisolon Fiesta Run 2012

KISOLON, Sumilao, Bukidnon (Bukidnon News.Net/ 24 November) Elite runners from Malaybalay City ruled the Kisolon Fiesta Run held in Barangay Kisolon, Sumilao, Bukidnon on November 17, 2012.

Bukidnon State University student Leonard Colonia came from behind in the last 2 kilometers to snatch the 10K men’s title from erstwhile leaders Arlon Gape (2nd place) Berven Santos (third place). On the other hand Christine Organiza stamped her class in the female category, leaving behind second placer Talia Salinay and Eutiqia Bato-on and Nena Dialong who tied for third.

In the men’s 5K, Bobby Tadlas of Barangay Casisang maintained his lead from start to finish staving off hometown bet Christian Jude Sandinao. BSU student Richard Moneva settled for third. Princess Noven Acil beat Leah Salinay and Maureen Benas to win the distaff side.

The kid’s 2K boys and girls categories were won by Joemarie Ebisa and Percy Faith Acil, respectively.

Kisolon Fiesta Run 2012, organized by Kag. George Jeremy Baula, was held as part of the barangay fiesta activities.
