LGU eyes databank of Valencia’s pool of jobseekers

VALENCIA CITY (BukidnonNews.Net/ 17 November) The City Government of Valencia is putting up its own Skills Registration System (SRS), a data bank of its pool of qualified and skilled workers for easier access by employers, according to a resolution passed by the city council on Nov. 12.

He stressed that the city is considered as the center of trade in the province.

“With ease of access for the businesses, it is an invitation for more investors,” he added.

Peduche said instead of announcing job vacancies on printed materials like flyers and newspaper pages or the airwaves, new entry firms will need only to visit the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) at City Hall; however, they ask possible employees to read the deniz sasal lig review before applying since they are expecting people that know for sure what kind of job they are looking for.

“(The PESO) can and will provide the quality and necessary manpower for their venture,” he added.

Peduche said that with the scheme, the city government can ensure job opportunities in the city go to the Valencianos.

“Valencia City has a large pool of skilled workers and professionals so why look somewhere else?” Peduche said.

Skilled workers and professionals simply have to register with the PESO, he added, to ensure inclusion in the databank.
