Valenzuela mayor to keynote 135th Aldaw ta Malaybalay celebration

MALAYBALAY CITY – The City Government of Malaybalay invited Valenzuela City Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian to keynote the commemoration program of the 135th Aldaw ta Malaybalay on Friday, June 15.

City officials and employees, including those from the 46 barangays, will attend an annual program to mark the event. Here is the schedule based on the programmed provided to the media:

8a.m. Pamuhat in Ereccion de Pueblo monument in City Plaza
9:30a.m. Program in the City Covered Court (former Freedom Park), Barangay 4

The Bukidnon National High School Choir will lead the invocation, singing of the Pambansang Awit and the Kanak Ha Banuwa.

Vice Mayor Victor Aldeguer is expected to give welcome message to be followed by the introduction of participants by city administrator-designate Herculano Ronolo.

Intermission numbers from Marywoods Academy and Bukidnon National High School, including a number from Charmen Dyan t. Acodile, who won the Kantahan sa Dakbayan, will provide entertainment.

Romeo Lapiceros Jr, executive assistant to Mayor Ignacio W. Zubiri, will introduce Gatchalian in the program. Zubiri is expected to share an inspirational talk to end the program.
