Capitol, Valencia city hall low-cost housing project on-going

VALENCIA CITY(Bukidnon News.Net/20 January) The Provincial Government of Bukidnon and the City of Valencia have commenced construction of a low-cost housing project, which will be located in Tolentino, Brgy. Bagontaas, of this city.
“The purpose of this housing project is to provide relocation for the calamity victims of the city,” said Junaida Prantilla, city planning and development head.
Prantilla said the joint project requires equity of P14.4 million from the provincial government and P8.2 million from the city government.

City Engineer Alfredo Guzman said the target date of completion of the is 60 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed.
The project will build 147 units of 24-square meter houses.

“We already started the construction last December 26,” Guzman said noting that they have started pending the notice to proceed, which was still pending at the city mayor’s office as of January 15..
The provincial housing board provided the housing project plan. The Angel and Sam construction won this bid as contractor of the said project. (Daniel V. Mental/BukidnonNews.net)
