Chowking opens Malaybalay branch

MALAYBALAY CITY (Bukidnon News/09 August) Fast food chain Chowking opened its Malaybalay branch for business Wednesday, its second branch in Bukidnon.

The new entry is the third fast food chain to open in Bukidnon’s capital, after Jollibee and Mang Inasal.

The food chain’s first branch is in Valencia City, business and commercial center of the province.

The branch is located along Fortich Street next to stalls of the Malaybalay Maranao Vendors Association and across Fuji Photo Center in the downtown area.

A staff of the Malaybalay City Licensing Office told Bukidnon News the restaurant obtained its business permit on July 18.

The city is home to big schools and universities such as the Bukidnon State University and the Bukidnon National High School. It is also home to the annual Kaamulan, a cultural festival.
