(UPDATED) DPWH to widen Malaybalay’s old national road

MALAYBALAY CITY (24 January 2018) The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is now ready to open for bidding the road widening project along juncture Sayre Highway – Impalambong Old Casisang Road (Old National Road).

Bulatao said they are waiting for the final instruction from DPWH- National Office regarding which tax ratio to use as adjustment indicated in the newly implemented Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law or Republic Act No. 10963 for the contractor.

Bulatao added that the P33.1 million project is targeted to take only 180 days or half a year to complete.

DPWH has requested residents directly affected to voluntarily clear and demolish any structure and obstruction within the 20-meter road-right of way limit to avoid delay in the operation. (Erlow Talatala/BukidnonNews.Net)

Note: A previous version stated a typo error: the project cost is P33.1 million, not P38.1 million.
