2 DepEd Malaybalay teachers win regional search  

MALAYBALAY CITY (BukidnonNews.Net/21 September 2017) Two teachers from the Department of Education or DepEd – Division of Malaybalay were among the regional winners for the 2017 Search for Outstanding Public School Teachers.

This was pursuant to Memorandum No. 414, series of 2017 released by DepEd Region X- Northern Mindanao on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 containing the list of the winners.

Based on the result, Angie Peria, Elementary School Teacher II of Dapulan Elementary School in Brgy. Apo Macote and Everardo Calopez, Secondary School Master Teacher II of Bukidnon National High School (BNHS) were among the winners from Malaybalay City Division.

Included also in the list were Vivilyn Buasag, SpEd teacher of Talakag National High School and Nanette Soriano, Secondary School Master Teacher I of Kalilangan National High School, both coming from DepEd-Division of Bukidnon.

The search is an annual activity, in consonance with the 2017 World Teacher’s Day celebration on October 5, 2017 as stated in the DepEd Memorandum no. 339 dated July 28, 2017.

It aims to commend and reward teachers who showed excellent performance and thoughtful commitment through exemplary competence and dedication in their work.

Overall, there were 16 teachers from the different divisions of DepEd in Northern Mindanao who were hailed as regional winners, four from Valencia City, two from Gingoog, two from Ozamiz, two from Iligan and one from Camiguin and Misamis Occidental. (BukidnonNews.Net)
